Ashley Judd Gives Off Mixed Messages

After suggesting that the world would be a better place if men's magazine FHM didn't exist, Ashley Judd is appearing topless on this month's cover of Marie Claire. The actress has not been able to be reached for comment.

I know you're going to say that the goals of Marie Claire and the goals of FHM are entirely different, but I don't care. If you're going to condemn a magazine that shows women in various states of near nudeness, only to then appear on a magazine cover nearly nude yourself, I think that you should have to apologize. But that's me.

Digg!

Plus, when I think of "actress likely to be topless in a movie", Ashley is at the top of the list. I can't even think of all the movies she's naked in.

I can: Ruby in Paradise (partially), Norma Jean and Marilyn (a lot), Normal Life (a whole lot), Eye of the Beholder (plenty), and Double Jeopardy (once). Men have counted on her being naked for 13 years, devoting entire websites to her photographs and freeze-frames of her nudity. Suddenly, she thinks it gross when they tell her she's one of the sexiest women alive? Doubt FHM ranks her next year, although she always be in my top 10.
